'Owen Mawer is a graduate from the University of Leeds, where he studied International Business and Spanish. Football has accompanied him through life, as has Spanish culture. After a year of blogging on placement in Barcelona, Spain, he felt it was the ideal time to start his own football blog. Alongside this, he writes for LaLiga Lowdown, The Set Pieces and has featured on a number of magazines and websites.
